Celestria is a world of connected cities. Astreus is your home base, while Beluria, Ostheim, and Elysium offer other places to work, explore, shop, and meet the locals. Your current location matters: many services belong to a particular city.
Where to find key services#
| City | Useful landmarks |
|---|---|
| Astreus | Training Grounds, Academia, Dungeons, crafting, bank, and property |
| Elysium | Mount rentals |
| Beluria | The Inscriber |
| Ostheim | Local shops, missions, residents, and fishing opportunities |
Shared activities such as Home, inventory, guilds, farming, Brawls, and missions appear across cities. The Areas menu is customizable; check the City view if you cannot find a service.
The cities behind the names#
Astreus is the human capital and your starting hub. Elysium, to the west, is the beastkin stronghold. Beluria, to the north, is the elven bastion built over Caelthor’s sealing chambers. Ostheim, to the east, began as a refuge for those fleeing the wars.
The older half-demon fortress-city Duskara belongs to the historical chronicle; it is not one of the four travel destinations listed in the current city menu. Explore the world map and lore for the background, or read Evermore for how these settlements developed.
Before you leave#
Open Travel to see the routes available from your current city. Journeys take time, and the travel screen shows your progress. Finish or abandon an active mission before departing. Dungeon participation can also prevent travel until you leave or finish the activity.
You cannot begin a journey while dead or exhausted. Visit the temple and recover before setting out. Plan your destination around the services you need, especially when carrying goods or returning to your home kitchen.
Reasons to explore#
- Visit city shops for their available equipment, supplies, and trade goods.
- Take local missions and build your standing with the city.
- Meet local folk, chat, and look for requests.
- Discover different fishing opportunities as your fishing experience grows.
- Compare trade prices before filling your caravan.
The world rewards revisiting places. Shop stock, available requests, your progression, and the goods you carry can all change what makes a visit worthwhile.
Mount rentals#
Mounts are rented in Elysium. They improve travel speed and the amount of trade goods you can carry. Check the level requirement, rental cost, and remaining time before choosing one. Replacing an active rental starts a new rental; it does not add the old time to the new mount.
