Your Pocket Farm is a personal growing space for seeds, crops, and a quieter kind of progression. Open it when it becomes available to check your fields, supplies, and upgrade requirements.
Your first harvest#
- Choose an empty, unlocked field.
- If you want to use fertilizer, apply it before planting. Check that it suits the seed.
- Plant a seed from your inventory.
- Return when the crop asks for water.
- Harvest when the crop is ready.
Growing crops need attention partway through their growth. Their progress waits for watering, and leaving them too long can kill them. Use the field's status and timer to decide when to return. The watering can waters crops, the basket collects harvests, and the grubber removes dead plants so their fields can be used again.
Growing your farm#
Farm upgrades unlock more fields. Requirements can include character progression, farming progression, and gold, so read the upgrade panel before saving for your next expansion. Harvesting also develops your farming mastery.
Fertilizer and farming skills can improve different parts of the process, including harvests and crop care. Their descriptions tell you which crops and activities they affect. Start with manageable planting times while learning the rhythm.
Make your harvest useful#
Produce can become part of your wider economy, including ingredients for the artisan kitchen. Before selling everything, check the recipes you want to cook and the materials your other activities need.
You cannot tend the farm while traveling or resting in the temple, and incapacitation or exhaustion also prevents farm work. Include crop care in your plans before a long journey.
