Your adventures build relationships as well as experience. Celestria tracks your standing with its cities and the factions of Astreus, while individual locals have their own affinity and requests.
City and faction reputation#
The Reputation screen shows your standing with Astreus, Beluria, Elysium, and Ostheim. It also tracks four Astreus factions:
- The Slayers Guild
- Astrean Royal Knights
- The Merchant Alliance
- Underground Vagabonds
Successful missions and brawl victories are sources of reputation. The place and activity matter: city missions build standing with their city, while faction-related missions contribute to the relevant Astreus faction. Check your reputation after completing activities to see where your efforts are taking you.
You do not need to calculate every gain. Choose the adventures that interest you, then use the reputation overview to follow your progress.
Faction tokens and the Ambassador Store#
Faction tokens are separate inventory items used to purchase offers at the Ambassador Store in Astreus. The store displays each faction's token balance and the cost of available offers.
Your reputation total and your token balance are different resources. Before saving for a particular reward, check which faction's tokens the offer requires. Available items and other rewards depend on what the store currently offers.
Meet the locals#
Open Local Folk in a city to meet its residents. Chat when the option is available and check whether someone has a request. Local requests can ask for gold or particular items, and the screen shows what is needed and the reward before you complete one.
Affinity belongs to your relationship with that individual. Revisit people as you explore, and let their conversations and requests reveal more of the world at your own pace.
